{"id":18154,"date":"2019-05-27T11:31:07","date_gmt":"2019-05-27T02:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/?page_id=18154"},"modified":"2025-10-21T15:55:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-21T05:25:08","slug":"juniors-eastern-districts-tennis-association","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/sa\/competitions\/summer-competitions\/juniors-eastern-districts-tennis-association","title":{"rendered":"Eastern Districts Tennis Association &#8211; Juniors"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>EDTA Juniors Key Dates and Team Nominations<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>2025-26 Key Dates<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Online nominations open: 29 July<\/li>\n<li>Online nominations close: 10 September<\/li>\n<li>Start of season: 17-18 October<\/li>\n<li>Last match before Christmas to be 5-6 December<\/li>\n<li>Break after 6 December, and returning on 30-31 January<\/li>\n<li>Last minor round to be on 27-28 February<\/li>\n<li>Finals to be run over 3 weekends commencing\n<ul>\n<li>Round: 14 March<\/li>\n<li>Round 2: 21 March<\/li>\n<li>Round 3 (Grand Final): 28 March<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Cup Long weekend<\/li>\n<li>Matches will not be played over the Adelaide Christmas Pageant for Orange Ball Divisions<\/li>\n<li>Orange Ball last round to be on 21 March<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Team Nomination\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A Tennis Club affiliated with Tennis SA may nominate a team to compete within Eastern Districts Tennis Association<\/li>\n<li>Nominations shall be submitted online via League Manager &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/leaguemanager.tennis.com.au\/#\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">League Manager<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"ui-provider fy b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>All players nominated must have registered and activated their own Competitive Player Profile to compete.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Players nominated will be required to register and activate their own Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)\n<ul>\n<li>Clubs can no longer create a profile. A profile must be created by a player or parent\/caregiver<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/competitiveplay\/register-and-activate-your-utr#:~:text=Register%20and%20Activate%20your%20UTR%20Rating&amp;text=Simply%20register%20with%20Tennis%20Australia,have%20already%20completed%20these%20steps.&amp;text=Login%20to%20your%20existing%20account,directed%20to%20a%20new%20screen.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instructions found here<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Nomination will require a nominating club to name in Order of Merit the players which it<br \/>\nproposes to play in its team.
