It is a weekly competition for teams of all levels of tennis from any Metro and inner Regional based Association.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>2026 Key Dates<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Online nominations open, Friday 6 March<\/li>\n<li>Online nominations close, Tuesday 7 April<\/li>\n<li>Start of season, Saturday 9 May<\/li>\n<li>Byes on 16 May (Doubles Only), 6 June, 11 July<\/li>\n<li>End of regular season, Saturday 22 August<\/li>\n<li>Finals two week series, commencing Saturday 29 August with Grand Finals on Saturday 5 September<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Team Nomination\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li>A Tennis Club affiliated with Tennis SA may nominate a team to compete within the Winter Pennant Competition<\/li>\n<li>Nominations shall be submitted online via <a href=\"https:\/\/leaguemanager.tennis.com.au\/#\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">League Manager<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Players nominated will be required to register and activate their own Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/competitiveplay\/register-and-activate-your-utr#:~:text=Register%20and%20Activate%20your%20UTR%20Rating&amp;text=Simply%20register%20with%20Tennis%20Australia,have%20already%20completed%20these%20steps.&amp;text=Login%20to%20your%20existing%20account,directed%20to%20a%20new%20screen.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Instructions found here<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The Nomination will require a nominating club to name in Order of Merit the players which it proposes to play in its team. Players without a Competitive Player Profile or are listed as reserves will not be taken into account when grading and require approval if they wish to play.<\/li>\n<li>For the Premier League divisions, depth will be taken into account. Grading will be based off of the top 6 listed players.<\/li>\n<li>Nominations have been opened for two mixed doubles divisions.<\/li>\n<li>The Winter Pennant Working Group reserves the right to increase the number of open divisions due to the strength of teams in the Blue &amp; Gold zones.<\/li>\n<li>Team Fee\u2019s for Winter Pennant competition will be $120 (inc GST) per team.
