The Racquet Room at the National Tennis centre in Melbourne was established by Tennis Australia to create a more efficient, science based, approach to racquet and string selection. Using data collected on a Hawk-Eye enabled court our sports science team can accurately inform players about the appropriate racquet and string selection for their game.
The services of the Racquet Room are currently only available to Australian players within the National Academy program and accredited Australian Open players. In the long term we plan to open the racquet room to recreational players, allowing everyone to benefit from these services.
If you’d be interested in accessing the Racquet Room as a member of the public please complete the form below and we’ll let you know once we’re open to the public.
