The Tennis Queensland Primary Schools Cup (previously Brisbane International Schools Challenge) is a team tennis competition for Queensland Primary Schools which uses modified equipment and numeric scoring.
This competition is about encouraging participation, providing a positive experience playing tennis, growing friendships and giving students the opportunity to represent their school in a team environment.
This competition is divided into 3 divisions.
- Division 1 is the competition pathway for teams wanting to qualify for the State Final held at Brisbane Tennis. (mixed teams)
- Girl’s Only Division is the competition pathway for girls wanting to play in a girls only competition. Teams can qualify for the State Final held during Brisbane Tennis.
- Division 2 is about encouraging participation, providing a fun, social playing experience and giving students the opportunity to represent their school in a team environment.
2020 will see the introduction of 16 Red Ball events held across the State. Schools may nominate in any event, regardless of School Sport District or Region.
The winning team from each event will qualify for the State Final. If events exceed standard numbers, the runner up team may be invited to the State Final
