The Port Augusta Tennis Association Inc has been part of the Central Oval Redevelopment Committee since it started a few years ago. This is still an ongoing project being sponsored by the City of Port Augusta. In the meantime the Tennis facilities need to be maintained to an acceptable standard and in this regard the PATA has an application for a grant under the Active Club Program to part fund a shade cover to replace a large shady tree (next to court One) which has recently died. Grant results will be announced in July 2011.
