Academic entry requirements

Each association has different requirements as their entry criteria. Athletes need to familiarise themselves with core course requirements.

College-bound student-athletes preparing to enroll in a Division I or Division II school need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center to ensure they have met amateurism standards and are academically prepared for college coursework.

Under the resources tab there is essential information for international students, which includes:

> Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete

> Eligibility Quick Reference Sheet

> US Academic Eligibility Summary

> Registration Checklist

> International Guide to Academic Standards

Athletes should note that it is a requirement to complete Years 9-12 in four consecutive years and to also commence their scholarship no later than the following August immediately after graduation.
