Competitions

Seniors

Season generally commences the Saturday after the October long weekend with matches commencing at 1pm. Season offers approx 16 home and away matches – no play over Christmas/Jan period – with two weeks of finals. Singles/Doubles and Doubles only competitions are offered. The club is an affiliated club of the North East Tennis Association. Metro League teams entered also and thus is managed by Tennis SA.

Singles/Doubles – matches consist of six 9 game sets, 4 players per team(min)

Metro Single/Doubles- matches consist of six 2 set matches with super tiebreaks as deciders, 4 players per team(min)

Doubles – matches consist of two 9 game and four 6 game sets, 4 players per team(min)

Winter

Season commences on the first Saturday in May at 1pm and runs for 14 matches. Two weeks of finals played. Matches consist of  two 3 set doubles( 3rd set super tiebreak) and four 3 set singles ( 3rd set super tiebreak). Minimum 4 players per team.This competition is managed by Tennis SA.

Juniors

Summer

Matches commence after the Sept/Oct school holidays on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Approximately 14 matches and three weeks of finals.Friday night matches commence at 6.30pm. Saturday mornings, teams play a split format with half the total matches played at 8.30-10.30 timeslot and the other half played at 10.30 – 12.30. Time slot change mid season. Green and Yellow ball divisions.  This competition is managed by the North East Tennis Association.

Teams are of 4 players and play 6, 6 game sets – 2 doubles/ 4 singles

Orange Ball competition is held each school term. Played on small court with low compression balls. 8 week season.Teams are of 3 players and play 4, 4 game sets- 2 doubles/ 4 singles

Winter

Season commences the first Friday/ Saturday in May. Approximately 15 matches. Friday night matches commence at 6.30pm and Saturday morning at 9.00am. Green and Yellow ball divisions. The competition is managed by North East Tennis Association.

Teams are of 4 players and play 6, 6 game sets- 2 doubles/ 4 singles

Mid Week Ladies

Two seasons per year – Jan to June and July to December. Breaks for school holidays. Played on Wednesday mornings from 9.15am. Approximately 15 matches per season with two weeks of finals. The competition is managed by North East Tennis Association.

Teams are of 4 players and play 6 sets of doubles.
