Andy Bhardwaj <\/strong>was nominated for the Zip Print Sport Award at the 2026 NT Young Achiever Awards. <\/strong>He was announced as the winner of the People’s Choice Award at the main event on Saturday 11th April – congratulations Andy!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Andy <\/strong>was nominated due to his work strengthening tennis pathways, representation and community wellbeing across the Northern Territory. This work includes growing tennis participation in through growing participation; he also established Darwin\u2019s first Blind Tennis program, earning Tennis NT Inclusion Initiative of the Year. Andy also serves as NT State Coach for the Bruce Cup Under-12 team.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Andy is the reigning NT\u2019s Men\u2019s Open No.1 and Venue Manager \/ Head Coach at Darwin International Tennis Centre<\/a> for the last 2 years.<\/p>\n

Most of all, all of us who work with Andy, play tennis with him, and are coached by him know he’s a great addition to the NT and that’s a huge reason why he was voted the People’s Choice Winner!\u00a0<\/p>\n
