Nestled approximately 2.5 hours East Southeast of Darwin, Jabiru is famously known as the gateway to Kakadu National Park. Over 100 students<\/b> from Jabiru Area School, Stars Foundation, Clontarf Foundation, and surrounding communities enthusiastically participated in the tennis activities, both during and after school hours.<\/p>\n

Despite facing a challenging local environment – where the mozzies seemed to outnumber the fallen trees left by recent cyclone Fina – a fantastic and memorable time was had by all involved!<\/p>\n\n

Recognizing Sportsmanship & Effort<\/h3>\nThe event highlighted exceptional talent and attitude. A student from the Stars Foundation and a student from the Clontarf Foundation were each recognized and awarded a brand-new tennis racquet and a red tennis ball for their outstanding sportsmanship and competitive spirit<\/strong> on the court. Furthermore, several other prizes were distributed to Jabiru Area School students who demonstrated excellent actions and attitude throughout the three-day period.\n
