Are you keen to get involved in the world of tennis officiating, which opens up a host of opportunities to work at world class events, both within the Territory and around Australia?<\/p>\n
Line Umpiring is a great way to get involved and requires little prior knowledge of the tennis world! You’ll be taught to score (if you don’t already know) and given theoretical and practical experience as a Line Umpire.<\/p>\n
The course will be run by experienced Line Umpire, Referee & Chair Umpire Gary Bigg of Tennis Alice Springs.
\nGary has lots of experience working at his local club, along with the Australian Open, Davis Cup, Brisbane International and a myriad of other events around Australia.<\/p>\n
With the opening of the new tennis centre at Marrara set for 2018, a variety of national and international events will be hosted, providing a great opportunity for local NT officials to participate in and get up close and personal to some amazing tennis action!<\/p>\n
