Tennis NT\u00a0\u00a0is pleased to announce the inaugural teams\u00a0for the upcoming 2015 Junior Tennis\u00a0League \u00a0#01<\/em><\/strong><\/span>. Commencing Friday 06 March and concluding on Friday 27 March, the season will feature three\u00a0rounds with\u00a0a grand final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Matches will be played\u00a0at Gardens Tennis from 7.00 – 9.00pm<\/p>\n

The JTL<\/em> <\/span><\/strong>will be played using the exciting new FAST4<\/em> format. The fundamentals of the sport remain the same, but there are four innovative rules that ensure matches are fast, competitive, exciting and can be completed in a reasonable period of time.<\/p>\n

1. NO LETS<\/strong>
\nif the serve clips the tape adn lands in, it’s play on! In doubles either player can take the return.<\/p>\n

2. NO-AD SCORING<\/strong>
\nthe receiver chooses the side to take the POWER POINT. In mixed doubles boy serves to the boy and girls serves to the girl.<\/p>\n

3. TIE-BREAKER AT 3 GAMES ALL<\/strong>
\nat 3 games all a short tie-break is played, first to 5 points. Players will serve 2 consecutive points with a POWER POINT determining the winner at 4 points all.<\/p>\n

4. FIRST TO 4 GAMES<\/strong>
\nit’s in the name, first to four games wins, no advantage games!<\/p>\n
