Halim was in control early, taking the first set 6-1. However Lee-Schell fought back to take the second 6-4 and continued the form into the match tie-break taking it 10-2. David Bridges (GT1) and Andrew Hawke (GT2)\u00a0also had a\u00a0great tussle in the #4 singles,\u00a0with Bridges coming through in the match tie-break\u00a07-5 5-7 7-6.<\/p>\n<p>In a battle for bragging rights Tennis Palmerston 1 narrowly overcame Tennis Palmerston 2 !<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tennis Palmerston 1<\/strong>:\u00a0 3 Rubbers \/ 7 Sets \/ 65 Games<br \/>\n<strong>Tennis Palmerston 2<\/strong>:\u00a0 3 Rubbers \/ 6 Sets \/ 57 Games<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Parker and Sam Giess (TP1) where in devastating form in the #1 doubles taking care of Nicholas Munro and Matt Giess (TP2) 7-5 6-3.
