Nominations for the 2013 Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards<\/strong> <\/em><\/span><\/a>are now open !<\/p>\n

The Awards celebrate and recognise the performances, achievements and contributions by members of the tennis family each year. The award categories are:

\n> President’s Spirit of Tennis Award
\n> Coaching Excellence – Talent Development
\n> Coaching Excellence – Club
\n> Coaching Excellence – MLC Tennis Hot Shots<\/em>
\n> Junior Athlete of the Year
\n> Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability
\n> Most Outstanding Tennis Community
\n> Volunteer Achievement Award
\n> Most Outstanding 35+ Tennis Senior
\n> Excellence in Officiating
\n> Most Outstanding Club
\n> Most Outstanding Tournament
\n> Most Outstanding School<\/p>\n

Nominations close Monday 7 October<\/strong> <\/span>and will only be accpeted via the online nominations process<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Held in the Palladium Ballroom at Melbourne’s Crown Entertainment Complex, the Newcombe Medal, Australian Tennis Awards<\/em> <\/strong><\/span>presents a unique opportunity to celebrate the year in tennis with legends of the past and the greats of today.<\/p>\n

Guests are invited to walk the blue carpet before enjoying a three course menu followed by entertainment from Jessica Mauboy and Tim Campbell.<\/p>\n
