That is where the celebrations ended for DTC Sports with LifeTime Gardens winning the remaining 5 doubles matches.<\/p>\n<p>However, DTC Sports who have been unbeaten in the previous 4 rounds where not going down without a fight. Matt Giess (DTC) started strong for DTC Sports with a 6-2 6-2 win over Darren Jakobson while Palfrey and Munro added two more wins to DTC\u2019s tally, with wins over Mark Pead and Rhys Janes respectively. Stephanie Long (DTC) put up a brave fight for DTC, but eventually went down to Sam Perry in a match tie-break 7-6 2-6 10-4.<\/p>\n<p>Gardens secured the remaining 8 singles matches with wins to Daniel Parker, Des McLellan, Dave Bridges, Ian Redmond, Indra Suherman, Cristian Musalem and Tony Burns.<\/p>\n<p>DTC Sports team captain, Ryan Palfrey sits on top of the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/nt\/tournaments\/metro-league\/player-of-the-year\">Player of the Year <\/a><\/em>leader board with Des McLellan (Gardens) a close second.
