Palfrey and Munro then backed up with impressive singles wins over Des McLellan and Mark Pead respectively.<\/p>\n<p>DTC Sports\u2019 Jamie Stefanato and Ben Lye combined for an impressive doubles victory over Frank Wallner and Kaarlo Perala 7-5 5-7 7-6 lasting over 2 hours. Both Stefanato and Lye then contested another grueling three-setter in their respective singles matches: Stefanato going down to Wallner 6-7 6-4 7-6 and Lye going down to Ian Redmond 1-6 6-1 7-6.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>DTC juniors Kane Nurton and Hamish Martin also secured tough wins in their singles, with Nurton defeating Lee Watkins 6-4 7-5 while Martin dropped a close tiebreaker in the second set to Gardens\u2019 Dave Bridges before clinching his first singles victory of the season 6-4 6-7 7-6.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Emily Moo and Madeleine Murray remain unbeaten so far this season. Moo and Murray combined to defeat Lee Watkins and Dennis Scrutton 6-2 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Giess from DTC Sports sits on top of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/nt\/tournaments\/metro-league\/player-of-the-year\"><em>Player of the Year<\/em> <\/a>leader board with Moo and Murray only one set behind.
