Both Mamolo and Parker continued their great form in their respective singles; Mamolo defeating Brennan 6-0 6-3 while Parker defeated Nicholas Munro 6-2 6-1.<\/p>\n<p>Des McLellan and Mark Pead also scored a vital doubles win for Gardens, taking the rubber 6-2 7-6 over Munro and Jamie Stefanato. McLellan and Pead both came from a set down in their respective singles to add to the Gardens total.<\/p>\n<p>NTIS athletes Emily Moo and Ben Lye teamed together for the first time for a comfortable 6-1 6-1 win over Gardens\u2019 pairing Darren Jakobson and Renee Van der Poel. In the singles Lye overcame Gardens veteran Dave Bridges 6-2 2-6 7-6 (9) while Moo defeated Jakobson 6-2 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>Des McLellan now moves to the top of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/nt\/tournaments\/metro-league\/player-of-the-year\"><em>Player of the Year<\/em> <\/a>leader board with 4 Rubbers, 9 Sets and 82 Games.
