{"id":190,"date":"2015-08-10T17:45:46","date_gmt":"2015-08-10T08:15:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/nt\/?page_id=190"},"modified":"2015-08-27T13:14:05","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T03:44:05","slug":"life-members","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/nt\/about\/life-members","title":{"rendered":"Life Members"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Life Membership is awarded in accordance with Tennis NT&#8217;s Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The following Clause is an extract from the Constitution:<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>14<\/strong><\/td>\n<td colspan=\"2\"><strong>LIFE MEMBERSHIP<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>14.1<\/td>\n<td>Life Membership may be conferred at annual general meeting.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>14.2<\/td>\n<td>Nomination for election to Life Membership must be in writing including such information as is reasonably required for the Board to endorse or reject the nomination.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>14.3<\/td>\n<td>Subsequent to endorsement the nomination will be presented to the annual general meeting for consideration where a two-thirds majority must agree to the Life Membership.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>14.4<\/td>\n<td>The person&#8217;s contribution to the development of tennis in the Northern Territory must be of sustained, distinctive and honourable service and in excess of 10 years.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<td>14.5<\/td>\n<td>Life Membership will be honorary and will not entitle the holder to vote on any matter.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Life Membership is awarded in accordance with Tennis NT&#8217;s Constitution.
