The Regional Coach Activation & Retention Program aims to support initiatives that strengthen the tennis coaching workforce in regional NSW. With $90,000 available in funding, the program seeks to empower Tennis Australia member coaches, Tennis NSW member venues, and Local Councils to develop sustainable, impactful projects that meet the program\u2019s objectives. This program is intended to address the shortage of qualified coaches in regional areas, enhancing the quality and availability of tennis programs, and driving long-term growth in regional tennis communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fund will support approved projects\/initiatives up to a maximum $10,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Program Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Increase the Number of Qualified Coaches in Regional NSW<\/strong>
    Expand the pool of trained and accredited tennis coaches in regional NSW via targeted training, incentives and support<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Support Coach Employability and Retention in Regional NSW<\/strong>
    Encourage initiatives that provide meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities for regional tennis coaches while addressing barriers to retention<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Improve Venue Activation and Sustainability in Regional NSW<\/strong>
    Enhance the diversity of programming and operational efficiency of regional tennis venues to support long-term sustainability through improved coaching initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Applications must be submitted by midnight Monday 6 October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    KEY DETAILS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Purpose:<\/strong> to support the development, activation and retention of tennis coaches regional venues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Eligibility:<\/strong> Tennis Australia coach members; Tennis NSW member venues and local councils<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Maximum contribution: <\/strong>The fund may contribute up to a maximum $10,000 per project, subject to overall funding limits and approvals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    – Delivery:<\/strong> The funding recipient will be responsible for project coordination, delivery, reporting and acquittal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
