The FEF seeks to enhance the sport\u2019s accessibility, sustainability, and overall growth by supporting small to medium-sized facility upgrades or enhancements.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>KEY DETAILS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fund Purpose:<\/strong> The FEF aims to stimulate investment in community tennis facilities, making them more sustainable and accessible.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Small to medium-sized facility upgrades or enhancements typically between $10,000 and $250,000 in total value.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding Contribution:<\/strong> The FEF may fund up to 25% of eligible total project value or between $2,500 to a maximum of $50,000.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2024 Round:<\/strong> Up to $500,000 has been allocated for eligible applicants in the 2024\/25 round.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delivery:<\/strong> The Tennis NSW Facility Enhancement Fund will be directly administered by Tennis NSW.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/u>:<\/p>\n<p>The FEF focuses on the following key objectives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Increased Participation: <\/strong>Upgrading facilities attracts more people to participate in tennis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhanced Participation Environment:<\/strong> Improved facilities lead to better participation experiences and positive outcomes for players.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expanded Tennis Activities:<\/strong> The FEF supports diverse tennis activities that can be delivered at upgraded venues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Venue Sustainability:<\/strong> Enhancing venue infrastructure contributes to long-term sustainability.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Removing Barriers:<\/strong> Addressing barriers to participation ensures inclusivity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The FEF supports Tennis NSW\u2019s broader strategic goals of improving the quality and number of tennis venues, maximising venue utilisation, activation and long-term sustainability, promoting equal access for diverse communities, providing enhanced tennis experiences for players, officials, coaches and spectators and lastly, creating and enhancing pathways for performance and competitive play.<\/p>\n<p>The Tennis NSW Facility Enhancement Fund is a vital step toward achieving these goals and is an important part of supporting the tennis ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis NSW Chief Executive Officer, Darren Simpson, said \u201cI am thrilled to announce the launch of the Tennis NSW Facility Enhancement Fund.
