Day 3 matches are complete at the NSW Open.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Top seed Thanasi Kokkinakis<\/strong> (SA) defeated Filip Peliwo<\/strong> (POL) in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. Rinky Hijikata<\/strong>\u00a0(NSW) has also progressed to the second round, after defeating fellow Aussie, Matthew Dellavedova <\/strong>(VIC) 6-3, 6-4.<\/p>\n

On the women’s side, Astra Sharma<\/strong> (WA),\u00a0Gabriella da Silva-Fick<\/strong> (NSW) and\u00a0Jamie Fourlis<\/strong> (QLD) all had convincing wins and will continue their NSW Open<\/strong> campaign tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Day 4 kicks of with Destanee Aiava\u00a0<\/strong>(VIC) up against Alana Parnaby\u00a0<\/strong>(VIC) and Talia Gibson <\/strong>(WA) against the number 1 seed Sujeng Jang<\/strong> from South Korea.\u00a0 After James Duckworth<\/strong> (NSW)\u00a0was forced to withdraw, lucky loser, Blake Mott<\/strong>\u00a0(NSW) will return again tomorrow on court 4. Luke Saville<\/strong>\u00a0(SA) will play the number 3 seed, Taro Daniel\u00a0<\/strong>(JPN).<\/p>\n
