Newcombe Medal nominees:<\/strong> Alex de Minaur (NSW), Max Purcell (NSW)<\/p>\n Coaching Excellence \u2013 Club:<\/strong>\u00a0Evolve Tennis Academy (Collaroy Tennis Club, NSW)<\/span><\/p>\n Coaching Excellence \u2013 Development:<\/strong>\u00a0Luke Bourgeois (Voyager Tennis Academy, NSW)<\/span><\/p>\n Male Junior Athlete of the Year:<\/strong>\u00a0Jeremy Jin (NSW)<\/span><\/p>\n Most Outstanding Athlete with a Disability:<\/strong> Kelly Wren (NSW)<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Most Outstanding Club:<\/strong> Collaroy Tennis Club (NSW), Total Tennis Mount Hutton (NSW)<\/span><\/p>\n Most Outstanding Professional Tournament:<\/strong> 2022 Nepean Easter (NSW)<\/span><\/p>\n Collaroy Tennis Club and Luke Bourgeois both took the win in their respective categories.<\/p>\n Celebrating its centenary in 2022, this club on Sydney\u2019s Northern Beaches is going from strength-to-strength. Providing free lessons for female members, to improve both their tennis and self-confidence, is example of why community participation levels are strong.<\/p>\n Bourgeois is the Director of Performance at the Voyager Tennis Academy at Sydney Olympic Park. He coaches many of New South Wales\u2019 leading junior players and his philosophy is to first develop the person, then the player.
