Day 6\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Top seed Brydan Klein <\/strong>(GBR) continued his great run on the Albury Grasscourts over the past fortnight, booking himself a spot in the Singles Final with a convincing 6-3 6-2 win against fourth seed Shuichi Sekiguchi <\/strong>(JPN).<\/p>\n Klein is yet to drop a set all week and will look to round out his great week in Albury with a victory.<\/p>\n His opponent in the Final was\u00a0Matthew Romios <\/strong>(VIC). Romios is through due to the withdrawal of Chris O\u2019Connell <\/strong>(NSW). The Doubles Final has been played, with number two seeds Brydan Klein <\/strong>(GBR) and Scott Puodziunas <\/strong>(QLD) taking the honours with a 4-6 7-5 11-9 win against number one seeds Arjun Kadhe <\/strong>(IND) and Jason Taylor <\/strong>(NSW).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Day 7<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n The Men\u2019s Singles Final was played between number one seed Brydan Klein <\/strong>(GBR) and Matthew Romios <\/strong>(VIC) on centre court in Albury.<\/p>\n Klein and Romios played out a number of tight rallies early, as both players tried their best to settle into the rhythm of the match. Romios fought back to get back on serve at 2-3 in the first set, before Klein showed his experience and took control of the match to take the first set 6-2. Klein continued to put his foot down in the second set, with Romios showing some resistance early on serve, but Klein was relentless in the end, claiming the match 6-2 6-1 in just over an hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The tournament is over and what a week it was!
