The 2016 PWID Sydney Tennis Championships were held over the weekend at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, with some of Australia\u2019s top players competing.<\/p>\n

The tournament, for tennis players with intellectual disabilities, attracted men and women from around Australia, with several medallists from the recent INAS World Tennis event in the USA.<\/p>\n

Kelly Wren, the current World No. 2 and INAS World Tennis gold and silver medallist, won the women\u2019s singles and doubles while Archie Graham, current World No. 1, also collected the double.<\/p>\n

Tournament Director Nikita Sayle said the tournament was a great success.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an annual event for Tennis NSW and once again we saw some truly fantastic tennis from some of the world\u2019s best.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PWID Sydney Tennis Championships is a highlight of our tournament schedule in NSW each year and it was great to see participant numbers continue to increase.\u201d<\/p>\n
