OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In 2024, the Australian Junior Tour comprises more than 250 Tennis Australia-endorsed tournaments. These tournaments will be held all across the country and provide junior players with opportunities to compete for Junior Tour points throughout the year for the end-of-season Junior Tour Year End Finals as well as their respective State Year End Finals.<\/p>\n

Announced ahead of the Junior Tour Year End Finals in November,\u00a0the Australian Junior Tour will be rebranded the De Minaur Junior Tour, reflecting a new level of commitment to the next generation of Australian talent, spearheaded by Australian No.1 tennis player Alex de Minaur.<\/p>\n

The two winners of each age group (one boy and one girl from the 12U and 14U age groups) at the\u00a0Junior Tour Year End Finals will automatically win the De Minaur Junior Tour scholarship.<\/p>\n

Two athletes will also be given scholarships to the program, named the Alex de Minaur Spirit of Tennis Scholarship. These will be awarded to the players who display key values and behaviours throughout the tournament.<\/p>\n

AGE CATEGORIES<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The qualifying age categories for the De Minaur Junior Tour tournaments and the De Minaur Junior Tour Finals will be 12U and 14U.<\/p>\n

TOURNAMENT CATEGORIES<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The following events currently in the competitive play calendar will be designated as De Minaur Junior Tour tournaments and will carry the following points designations to assist players, parents and coaches determine the number of points available to the winner of these respective tournaments . This is consistent with the naming conventions found within the ATP and WTA tours.<\/p>\n

J1000: <\/strong>1000 points<\/p>\n

J500:<\/strong>\u00a0500 points<\/p>\n

J250:<\/strong> 250 points<\/p>\n

J125: <\/strong>125 points<\/p>\n

AGE QUALIFICATION \u2013 DE MINAUR JUNIOR TOUR TOURNAMENTS<\/strong><\/h5>\n

A player\u2019s competition age category and his\/her eligibility to participate in the De Minaur Junior Tour will be based on the player\u2019s age as of the last day of the month of the respective De Minaur Junior Tour tournament.<\/p>\n

AGE QUALIFICATION \u2013 2025 DE MINAUR JUNIOR TOUR FINALS<\/strong><\/h5>\n

A player\u2019s competition age category and his\/her eligibility to participate in the 2025 De Minaur Junior Tour Finals will be based on the player\u2019s age on 31 December 2025.<\/p>\n

All players should take note of what age category they are eligible to compete in at the National & State Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

QUALIFYING PERIOD<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The points qualification period for the 2025 De Minaur Junior Tour Finals will be from 19 October 2024 to 12 October 2025.<\/p>\n

ENTRIES & SEEDING \u2013<\/strong>DE MINAUR JUNIOR TOUR TOURNAMENTS<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Entries and seeding into all TA Endorsed De Minaur Junior Tour tournaments will be based on a player\u2019s most recently available UTR Rating at the close of entries and\/or at the time of seeding.<\/p>\n

DE MINAUR JUNIOR TOUR TOURNAMENTS<\/strong> – POINTS ALLOCATION<\/strong><\/h5>\n

A player\u2019s best 8 results in Singles & Doubles will count towards the player’s Points Race total.<\/p>\n

Singles:<\/strong>\u00a0Best eight (8) results can be calculated from events contested in the players\u2019 De Minaur Junior Tour Finals age category. If applicable, a player can have results from a maximum of three (3) other events outside of the player\u2019s De Minaur Junior Tour Finals age category.<\/p>\n

Doubles:<\/strong>\u00a0Best eight (8) results can be calculated from events contested in the player\u2019s De Minaur Junior Tour Finals age category. If applicable, a player can have results from a maximum of three (3) other events outside of the player\u2019s De Minaur Tour Junior Finals age category.<\/p>\n

Example: A player who ages out of 12U into the 14U age category through the year will be permitted to use a maximum of 3 results from outside their De Minaur Junior Tour Finals eligible age category of 14U.<\/em><\/p>\n

DE MINAUR JUNIOR TOUR FINALS \u2013 RACE POINTS PUBLICATION<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Points Race Leader Board will be published monthly on the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0day of each month starting on 8 November 2024 unless the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0day of the month falls on a weekend whereby it will be published the following business day.<\/p>\n

All players will be displayed in the Points Race Leader Board for which they are eligible to participate e.g. a player eligible to compete in the 14U age category of De Minaur Junior Tour Finals will be displayed in the 14U Leader Board from the outset of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

POINTS ALLOCATION<\/strong><\/h5>\n

De Minaur Junior Tour points will be on offer for 12U & 14U age groups at all TA endorsed J1000, J500, J250 and J125 events.<\/p>\n

Players eligible for the De Minaur Junior Tour Finals or State Finals will receive J125 points from the 18u Rating & Gender or All Gender Rating tournament types. These points will count to either age category in the player best 8 results calculation.<\/p>\n

The following Australian Competitive Play Junior endorsed tournaments do not attract points for the De Minaur Junior Tour:<\/p>\n
