Entries close this week for two major tournaments on the NSW calendar, the Country Championships and the Tennis World Sydney Open.

The Country Championships, encompassing the Junior Tour event and Silver AMT, is the most prestigious event in NSW Country tennis. Former winners include Grand Slam champions Tony Roche, Mark Edmondson and Evonne Goolagong Cawley, and more recently, Nathan Healey and Ashley Fisher.

The tournament will be held at Forster Tennis Club from 1-8 July. For accommodation options, please click here.

Entries for the Silver AMT close at 11.59pm on Tuesday, 21 June, click here to enter. Entries for the JT event close at 11.59pm on Thursday, 23 June, click here to enter.

While country players battle it out in Forster, Metropolitan players will go head-to-head at the Tennis World Sydney Open. A Silver AMT event, former champions include John Newcombe, Todd Woodbridge and Ken Rosewall. Entries close at 11.59pm on Saturday, 25 June. Click here to enter.
