The Saturday competition kicked off last Saturday with a couple of rain delays. For the players who were able to get teams onto the court, the break has not dulled play with several teams jumping straight to the top of the table by a healthy margin especially in the divsion1 men’s. Team5 is leading the table on 39pts, Team1 is right behind them 2pts off the pace while in equal 3rd are Team6 and Team4 lagging by a further 10pts. In the division2 City2 and City4 are in equal 1st with City3 and City1 in equal 2nd by 4pts. The divsion2 ladies has H.Ooms starting off well in 1st 3pts clear of DeMarchi in 2nd place while Westbury is in 3rd by a slim 1pt.

This week will see the start of the new Wednesday and Thursday ladies’ competitions.
