About our Club

The Longford Tennis Club is a family friendly and welcoming tennis club, offering social and competitive tennis for players of all standards.

Our club has:

• Two outdoor plexi-pave courts (hardcourt);
• High quality lighting for night games on both courts;
• A clubhouse with a kitchen and toilets;
• A ball machine for practice; and
• An active, hard working committee, and a fantastic group of members
• Coaching is available for both adults and children

Location

Longford is a town in the north of Tasmania, Australia, 21 km south of Launceston. It lies 175 m above sea level at the convergence of the Macquarie River and the South Esk River. It is just south of Illawarra Road, a road connecting the Bass and Midland Highways. It has a population of approx 4000 and is part of the Northern Midlands Council area. The region is predominantly agricultural, noted for wool, dairy produce and stock breeding.
