Come "N" Try / Open Day Review October 2014

Saturday October 11th. 2014 marked a new ERA at Kensi Tennis Club with the “doors opened” to the 2014 Summer Tennis Season to the community and members for a fun filled and traditional tennis day out.

Our special feature program for the day was the “Foundation” of setting up our Brand New ANZ Hot Shots Community Play Program. (on Grass)

At Kensi, we are re inventing new ways to attract kids back to grass courts and deliver a comprehensive junior tennis program for all levels. Please check our New Programs available to all members and non members.

Even the “Big Kids” got out and had a try at Totem Tennis which is a great development tool for everyone picking up a tennis racket!

Our Coaching Team worked hard for the day, running lots of “sampler” activities for the “little” ones whilst our Junior Director was doing the PR work with new potential members.

Our volunteers for the day all “chipped in” with our Brand New Barrista’s Coffee Bar Open for business (thanks to our special sponsors) with home baked light snacks , and a great smelling BBQ wafting over the guests noses to make them hungry! We hope to serve regularly during our ANZ Hot Shots Sunday courses every week! (and more)

For Juniors at Kensi , we are now able to offer Junior Squad Coaching on Grass Courts with Pro Coaches Jay and Dec and Alex. It was great to see some more advanced junior players hit the courts for our Free Play session and getting to meet and know the coaches.
