The 2013 Senior Club Championships were played at Mossfiel Reserve over the weekend of April 13th-14th. The finals results were as follows:
Men’s Open Singles: Nick Williams (3) def. Shaun Sharp (2) 6-0 6-2
Women’s Open Singles: Deanne Kirkpatrick def. Kath Grant 6-3
Open Doubles: Ryan Meehan/Shaun Sharp (1) def. Michael Munro/Nick Williams(3) 2-6 7-6(3) 10-3
Consolation Singles: Yassir Ali-Bakhit def. Mitchell Hoole 6-2 6-1

The club would like to congratulate all players who particpated in the 2013 Senior Club Championships; it was great to see a high number of entrants this year. A special congratulations to Nick Williams & Deanne Kirkpatrick who are our Club Champions for 2013. Nick knocked out both of the top seeds on his way to his first Senior Club Championship title; a wonderful effort from one of the clubs strong junior players. Deanne didn’t drop a set for the tournament and was able to successfully defend her 2012 Women’s Singles title. We look forward to our next Senior Club Championships at our new venue in Wooten Road in 2014.
