Kilmore Tennis Club receive $20,000

20 November 2014 |

Victorian Coalition Government funding of $20,000 to trial new 24-hour gate access technology for tennis clubs across the state will provide greater access for Kilmore’s tennis enthusiasts, Minister for Sport and Recreation Damian Drum announced today.

Mr Drum joined Member for Northern Victoria Amanda Millar at the club today to announce the boost which will give local players the chance to access the club’s courts and lighting at any time day and night.

“The Coalition Government is committed to a more active Victoria and recognises the importance of sports clubs and their recreation facilities in encouraging people of all ages to get more active and healthy,” Mr Drum said.

“Once installed, the new 24 hour on-line court booking system will give keen tennis players access to the courts and court lighting at times that suit them,” Mr Drum said.
