Head Coach

We offer exclusive rights to run your tennis coaching business from our centrally located tennis courts. You will be responsible for running all aspects of your own business – delivering, but not limited to, the following range of tennis coaching services:

•Operate/manage/deliver the Hot Shots programme and oversee the Hot Shots Community Pillar
•Engage fully with our regional Tennis in Schools programme
•Operate a comprehensive Junior Programme year round including holiday programmes
•Provide private coaching lessons for all levels and age of club player
•Provide group coaching options for social and competitive club players
•Participate in local interclub competitions and events to facilitate relationships with members and the extended tennis community
•Participate in our Regional Elite training programme as part of a collegial regional tennis coaches group
•Assist the Junior Convenor with the selection of junior interclub teams
•Assist with tournaments run by the Club

Key skills required:

•Experience and passion for delivering the Hot Shots programme
•Experience and passion for coaching children and adults of all abilities
•Proven level of technical proficiency – for beginners, intermediates and advanced players
•Proven ability to train, supervise and lead a team of coaches and/or coaching assistances and/or parents
•Proven administration, communication and marketing skills
•Personal qualities include: inspiring, reliable, self-motivated, innovative, responsive, engaging, professional
