The following guidelines are specific requirements applicable to the Clifton Springs Tennis Club and should be read in conjunction with the Tennis Australia Safeguarding Children Policy and Guidelines

* The club ensures that all club events involving children are monitored by at least one club member with a current Working With Children Check or by the parents/guardians of the children.

* The Club does not provide transport to matches that are played at other tennis clubs . Parents need to make reliable and safe arrangements to get their children to and from away venues and to supervise them at all times .

* The Tennis Club toilets are for use by Club members and visiting players . ( other members of the public should use the adjacent public toilet ) . All the cubicles are provided with easy to use door bolts and it is recommended that these are used by patrons of all ages . Parents or guardians may accompany children into either the men’s or ladies toilets .

* The showers are for the use of adult members or visitors . Players under the age of 18 may only use them if supervised by a parent or guardian .

* Only adult members of the Club should enter the storeroom . Visitors and junior members should not enter the store .

* It is the responsibility of parents to supervise children they bring to the Club who are not involved in tennis matches or coaching . Parents need to make arrangements to supervise non-playing children whilst the parents are on court .
