A long serving member, former president (1981-83, 2008-2010), club champion (1975, 79 and 91) and life member of the club, Nam was awarded the Club Person award for his service over the past 12 months where he has contributed as Vice President, chair of the Grounds committee, conducted Community Play tennis for the little kids, been the driving force behind new court signs, irrigation redevelopment, developing new social competitions for members and ensuring the grounds are kept in pristine condition.

“Henry spends many hours at the club looking after the courts, conducting the Community Play tennis for the little kids and can always be called on to attend any sub committee meetings  where he is willing to share his plentiful knowledge on a myriad of tennis and local government life experiences that he has been involved in over the years.  The club is grateful to have the services of someone like Henry and I have great pleasure in presenting him with the Club Person Award for 2015-16 ”  Maxwell said.

In accepting his award, Nam thanked the club for what it had given to him.  “I’ve had so much pleasure and friendships here over the years and been able to play the sport I have most enjoyed all my life.  Being retired has enabled me to put more time back into the club and I would like to encourage more people to be supportive and participate on and off the courts.” Nam said.

Congratulations Henry and Thank you for your continued service and contribution to the club.
