13 year old Annerly Poulos has finished runner up at the Australian Grasscourt Championships held\u00a0this week at\u00a0Memorial Drive Tennis Centre in Adelaide.<\/p>\n
Poulos who went into the tournament as the top seed was in dominant form all week, making it through to the final, without dropping a set. She dispatched the seventh and eighth seeds in the quarters and semifinals, only dropping 5 games.\u00a0\u00a0 In the final she took on Western Australian Crystal Mildwaters.\u00a0 Mildwater was also in impressive form, dropping only 7 games en route to the semifinals.\u00a0 Despite Poulos holding a 2-0 record in their career head to head, Mildwater proved too strong in the final taking it 6-1, 6-3.<\/p>\n
Poulos also combined with fellow ACT player Ashleigh Simes to make the semifinals of the 14\/u girls doubles.\u00a0 ACT’s Jack Tallarida Lyons combined with South Australia’s Terry Karahalios to also made the doubles semifinals in the 14\/u Boys.<\/p>\n
