Melba Tennis Club held their Open Junior tournament on April 2-3. The tournament had over 100 entries ranging from beginner to immediate players. The tournament is part of the Junior Development Series (JDS) which is designed to give players a first experience in playing tournaments throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Melba\u00a0Junior Open\u00a0Tournament Director Owen Peemoeller said “The tournament was a great success. It was great to see so many kids participating with some fantastic\u00a0tennis on display. We had an awesome\u00a0weekend of weather and all matches were played in good spirit”.<\/p>\n
