It&#8217;s been 23 years since Canberra&#8217;s Wally Masur reached a career high ranking of 15, back in October 1993, following his US Open semifinal appearance that year. Nick&#8217;s outstanding performance to reach the semifinal of the Miami 1000 Masters propelled him to No.20 in the world and has also given him the crown of Australia&#8217;s current No.1 player. He is now 1 spot ahead of Bernard Tomic, who is currently ranked No.21.
