Tennis in the ACT has enjoyed great success on the world stage over the past few months.<\/p>\n
Part of this success has been ACT umpire\u2019s selections for international events, including Wimbledon, Manchester, Fiji, US Open and the upcoming Youth Olympics in China.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is such an amazing privilege to have opportunities to officiate at different tournaments across the world\u201d, says Emma Walter, who recently returned from officiating in the UK, including Wimbledon.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe tennis community is so strong here in the ACT and it is so wonderful to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
There are many ways you can get involved as a tennis official \u2013 whether that\u2019s getting out on the lines or being up in a chair to helping out off-court at a local tournament.<\/p>\n
