Salvation Army\u2019s Oasis Youth Support Program was selected for 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The event was held Forrest Tennis Club and was run with the help of Brett and Frank from Rising Star Tennis Academy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The event had twice as many teams as last year with twenty-four teams from local businesses around Canberra. The highlight of the day was former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash was court side to step in as a super sub for one point in exchange for a charitable donation.<\/p>\n<p>The day was a great success. Through the help of the local business community and Maxim Chartered Accountants over $100,000 was raised and donated to the Salvation Army\u2019s Oasis Youth Support Program.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis ACT was proud to be involved in the day, supporting such a great cause.
