{"id":3228,"date":"2011-11-19T11:27:34","date_gmt":"2011-11-19T01:27:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=3228"},"modified":"2011-11-19T11:27:34","modified_gmt":"2011-11-19T01:27:34","slug":"national-sports-club-open-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2011\/11\/19\/national-sports-club-open-day","title":{"rendered":"National Sports Club Open Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By: Edwin Smith<\/p>\n<p>A highly successful open day has been put on by Tennis ACT in association with Calvary Health Care ACT at the National Sports Club over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Over 70 people attended the day which included six courts of free coaching courtesy of Champion Team Tennis, who run the coaching at Lyneham tennis courts.<\/p>\n<p>The six courts catered for all ages and abilities, starting from a beginning hot shots level through to advanced level of players.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis ACT\u2019s Anthony Okines ran the day, which was free for all involved, and included a sausage sizzle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was great to see so many people come down and enjoy some social tennis,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main aim we had was to get people socialising and having fun as well as playing some tennis.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By: Edwin Smith A highly successful open day has been put on by Tennis ACT in association with Calvary Health Care ACT at the National Sports Club over the weekend.
