{"id":3033,"date":"2011-10-16T09:04:26","date_gmt":"2011-10-15T23:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=3033"},"modified":"2011-10-16T09:04:26","modified_gmt":"2011-10-15T23:04:26","slug":"melba-tennis-club-holds-a-members-fun-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2011\/10\/16\/melba-tennis-club-holds-a-members-fun-day","title":{"rendered":"Melba Tennis Club holds a members fun day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"color: #867c79\">By: Edwin Smith<\/p>\n<p>Following on from a successful open day, Melba tennis club has held a member\u2019s fun day on Sunday 16 October.<br \/>\nThe day was aimed at bringing members of the together for a fun and social hit-around.<br \/>\nTennis ACT supplied the club with a speed guns so members could test how fast they could serve, and mini-nets to encourage longer rallies.<br \/>\nApart from the tennis, there was also a raffle and a BBQ held on the day.<br \/>\nHead coach of the club Owen Peemoeller said it was a great chance for members to get together and socialise amongst each other.<br \/>\n\u201cIt was a brilliant day.
