Mike Barrell is the Director of evolve9 in the UK, and a world-renowned expert in the area of children\u2019s tennis.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop covered:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0The benefits of modified tennis and formats for children<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Why run club-based competitions<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Preparing children for competition in your lessons<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Creating the right environment in your club<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Understanding and developing a competitive orientation in young players<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Effective planning, marketing and running your competition calendar<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0The best age-appropriate formats for red, orange and green stages<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Working with and understanding parents<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was a huge success with all 15 coaches leaving the day very motivated and inspired.\u00a0 Mike was an excellent speaker.
