Tennis ACT has strengthened its oldest tennis competition with the announcement of locally-owned retailer Supabarn Supermarkets as the new Major Supporter of the Adult Pennant competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With more than 1,400 people actively participating at thirty venues throughout the ACT and surrounding regions, Adult Pennant is the leading interclub competition for singles and doubles tennis players of all standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Adult Pennant competition dates back to the 1930s, and is one of the most important participation programs for club tennis in the community,\u201d CEO of Tennis ACT Ross Triffitt said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s become an integral part of the sport\u2019s competition pathway and supports the transition of junior players into professional athletes.<\/p>\n
