Grassroots<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">a.Marketing Campaigns \u2013 The implementation of marketing campaigns to promote interest in playing tennis<br \/>\nb.Tennis Programs \u2013 Development of programs to translate interest into participation<br \/>\nc.Competitions \u2013 Development of strategy to enhance competition tennis<\/p>\n<p>2.Infrastructure<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">a.Develop more courts \u2013 Focusing on population and demand<br \/>\nb.Better quality of management \u2013 Ensuring operational success<\/p>\n<p>3.Coach Education<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">a.Develop \u2013 Develop the best coaches nationally by offering educational opportunities<br \/>\nb.Attract \u2013 Attract and retain coaches through an engaging coach membership program<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe support from ActewAGL will greatly assist us in supporting and growing the tennis community through the delivery of promotions, programs, competitions and training for coaches and administrators,\u201d Triffitt said.<\/p>\n<p>ActewAGL Director Sales, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Paul Walshe said, \u201cActewAGL provides support to a variety of sporting organisations across the ACT and the surrounding region, from grassroots programs to professional teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to support the Tennis ACT community tennis program, which\u00a0 is a great initiative aimed at increasing participation in tennis across our community, through grassroots programs, investment in infrastructure and coaching education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to the next generation of tennis super stars this program may produce from our region in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tennis in the ACT and the surrounding region got a major boost today, with the signing of ActewAGL as a major supporter of the Tennis ACT community tennis program.
