Kyrgios will take on Austrian\n<strong>Dominic Thiem<\/strong>, at John\nCain Arena at 7pm Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canberra\ncommunity is preparing to throw their support behind Kyrgios at the Summer of\nTennis Party, hosted at <strong>Yarralumla Tennis Club<\/strong> which will broadcast\nKyrgios\u2019 match on a giant screen and be a hive of activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tennis ACT CEO Kim Kachel<\/strong> said the Canberra community will be right\nbehind him, \u201cNick has contributed so positively on many fronts to the broader\ncommunity; as recently evidenced in his support of those struggling through\nCOVID and bushfires. &nbsp;He loves Canberra and has always been a fantastic\nsupporter of tennis across the ACT and region &#8211; he always puts his hand up to\nhelp us with projects and events. &nbsp;It\u2019s time for everyone to continue showing\nhim our support and make some noise this Friday\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe event will be action-packed and we encourage locals to grab their\nmates, or their family and get ready to cheer on Nick. We will also have a\nraffle at the event, from which one lucky fan will win signed merchandise from\nNick. &nbsp;All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to support the <strong>NK\nFoundation<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Summer of Tennis Party will be run over two nights on<strong> Friday 12\nand Saturday 13 February<\/strong>. There will be plenty of action happening on and\noff court, with a chance for fans to jump on court in <strong>Open Court Sessions<\/strong>,\nand <strong>ANZ Tennis Hot Shots<\/strong> lessons for the kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Australian Open will be broadcast on a giant screen through\nBroadcast <strong>Partners Channel 9, Southern Cross Austereo<\/strong>. Fans will also be\nable to grab a bite to eat with Piallgo Estate, or a drink with Capital Brewing\nCo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gates will open at 5:30pm on Friday. Tickets are $5 per person, with all\nticket proceeds directly supporting Canberra\u2019s community tennis clubs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note tickets are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions so we\nencourage everyone to get in quickly to avoid disappointment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The match will also be screened at The Canberra Southern Cross Club which is a great venue to catch all the action.
