There will be a range of off court activities to inspire and enhance health and wellness for participants including nutrition sessions, learning how to make healthy snacks and much more.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s fun, social, non-competitive, best of all you, as the participant, get to determine how, and what you play!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tennis 4 Teens<\/strong> will start in Term 4 and sessions will run for 60-90 minutes, and cater for all abilities. This is a great chance to let off some steam, get active and socialise with friends.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis ACT <strong>School Development Coordinator Brittany Hughes<\/strong> said the program is all about having fun.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This program is a perfect for girls wanting to have a hit in a very social environment. We have dedicated and passionate coaches, who are excited to get the program underway in their clubs. I encourage all girls to come along and have a go&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>World No.1 <strong>Ash Barty<\/strong> has previously spoken about the importance of empowering girls to play sport for themselves and to ignore peer and societal pressures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAside from the obvious health benefits, sport is a fantastic way to develop confidence and feel good by doing something physical. I hope to see more girls take up sport, whatever they choose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t have to be a professional athlete to experience the gifts sport delivers. The first week is free, then $170 for the remainder of the term.
