{"id":13807,"date":"2018-06-26T15:32:26","date_gmt":"2018-06-26T05:32:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=13807"},"modified":"2018-06-26T15:35:12","modified_gmt":"2018-06-26T05:35:12","slug":"top-tennis-features-in-anz-jds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2018\/06\/26\/top-tennis-features-in-anz-jds","title":{"rendered":"Top tennis features in ANZ JDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seventy-eight participants braved the frosty mornings as part of the ANZ Junior Development Series (JDS), playing in the Tennis World Canberra Junior Open at the Canberra Tennis Centre on 23-24 June.<\/p>\n<p>With opponents barely visible through the early morning Canberra fog, the 11\/u and 13\/u boys commenced their singles Round Robin events. All players had an immensely enjoyable time playing on various court surfaces many had yet to experience.<\/p>\n<p>A number of outstanding rounds of tennis were enjoyed by tournament staff, spectators and most certainly, the participating players. Group two of the 13\/u boys through up some tough battles, with Kiran Myutel-Mansur coming out on top after edging Elian Lopez and Ryan Duan. \u00a0Myutel-Mansur then went on to make the final before falling to Nicholas Maleganeaus 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, the girls hit to courts showcasing some top tennis .
