Adult Pennant once again showed strong quality tennis throughout the Spring season where a total of 112 teams battled it out across the Monday\/Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Competitions. A division restructure this season resulted in many close matches in preliminary, semi-final and final matches in each competition.<\/p>\n

The Saturday Pennant Final was played on 18\u00a0November with Tennis World Canberra defeating Weston Creek Tennis Club 7 sets 65 games \u2013 3 sets 41 games. The Thursday Night Pennant finals where held on 7\u00a0December with Melba Tennis Club taking the title for Division 1. The Monday\/Tuesday Night Pennant finals where rescheduled after a couple washout weeks with the finals taking place on 11\u00a0December. Teams battled it out at both the Canberra Tennis Centre and Belconnen Tennis Club, with Weston Creek Tennis Club 1 victors in Division 1 after a hard fought match against Belconnen Tennis Club 1.<\/p>\n

The winning teams were presented at the Tennis ACT Adult Pennant Spring Presentation Brunch, proudly presented by major Adult Pennant supporter, The Walking Clinic<\/p>\n

Tennis ACT would like to thank all players for their participation during the Spring season of Adult Pennant. \u00a0We would also like to thank The Walking Clinic<\/a>, the major supporter of Adult Pennant in the ACT.<\/p>\n
