{"id":11330,"date":"2017-06-13T11:48:39","date_gmt":"2017-06-13T01:48:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=11330"},"modified":"2017-06-14T09:16:04","modified_gmt":"2017-06-13T23:16:04","slug":"torrens-take-out-historic-rematch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2017\/06\/13\/torrens-take-out-historic-rematch","title":{"rendered":"Torrens take out historic rematch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Torrens and Red Hill Junior Pennant teams clashed once again in a history making final rematch on Sunday 4 June, Torrens taking out the <em>Division 2 Red<\/em> Autumn title 4 sets 31 games \u2013 2 sets 28 games.<\/p>\n<p>Torrens team member, <strong>Felix Lawler, <\/strong>is thrilled with the outcome of the rematch and can\u2019t wait to play in the next Junior Pennant competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so happy to be the winners, and we are ready for Division 1,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Torrens Tennis club player, <strong>Noah Wright<\/strong> commended the hard work of his team and coaching staff after the replay.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was such a nice experience to have to play in the re-match, and also very exciting for our team,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe worked really hard on our doubles over the week with our coach, this is what we feel let us down last weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Red Hill Tennis Club also enjoyed replaying last week\u2019s final, as they saw it as a second chance to defeat their successful opponent.<\/p>\n<p>Red Hill team member, <strong>Kieren McConville<\/strong> commented;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery morning this week I did singles training, and it worked,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were so happy that we got the draw and had the chance to replay the match.
