On Sunday 28 May, Torrens and Red Hill Tennis Clubs participated in a nail biting Junior Pennant final, the club teams finishing 3 sets all 26 games all.<\/p>\n

The Tennis ACT Autumn Junior Pennant Division 2 Red<\/strong> final was the first final round match to result in a draw in the competitions history. To determine a winner, the final is set to be replayed on Sunday 4 June at 1pm at the Canberra Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n

Tennis ACT Competition organiser,\u00a0Brittany Hughes<\/strong>, said both teams played extremely well considering the tough match-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth teams displayed high quality tennis in tough conditions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Junior Pennant competition is a great way to highlight talented young tennis players in the ACT and with this tied result, it demonstrates the outstanding ability and positive attitude of ACT players.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Division 1, Kambah Tennis Club again walked away with this terms title, winning the Junior Pennant Division 1 title for the 3rd<\/sup> consecutive time.<\/p>\n

Now bi-annual, the Tennis ACT run Junior Pennant competition consisted of 64 teams across 9 divisions.<\/p>\n

Tennis ACT would like to congratulate and thank all the junior players for their participation and commitment over the Autumn period.<\/p>\n

The 2017 Spring Junior Pennant competition will commence on Sunday the 3rd<\/sup> of September with entries opening at your local club from mid-July.<\/p>\n
