{"id":11217,"date":"2017-05-17T11:35:07","date_gmt":"2017-05-17T01:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/?p=11217"},"modified":"2017-06-13T10:43:33","modified_gmt":"2017-06-13T00:43:33","slug":"clubs-provide-feedback-on-pilot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/act\/news\/2017\/05\/17\/clubs-provide-feedback-on-pilot","title":{"rendered":"Clubs engage in first forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>50 ACT tennis club representatives provided valuable feedback to Tennis ACT and Tennis Australia regarding the <strong>Book a Court<\/strong> pilot program on May 16 at the Canberra Tennis Centre.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.com.au\/clubs\/book-a-court\">Book a Court<\/a> is an online court booking and payment platform for affiliated tennis clubs. Three ACT tennis clubs participated in the initial Book a Court pilot, with 10 local clubs now using the system.<\/p>\n<p>Tennis Australia Club Development Manager, <strong>Rob Knee<\/strong> shared Book a Court news and developments, and provided support to attendees alongside Tennis ACT Participation Leader, <strong>Jake Lalliard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The club forum also featured Tennis ACT CEO, <strong>Kim Kachel<\/strong>, who shared an overview of the member associations key strategies and business priorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are really pleased with the turnout at the first club forum for 2017\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is clear that our tennis community is engaged with the sport and they are keen to build new connections with Canberrans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An event highlight included an educational talk by Manager of Industry Development, <strong>Steve Marquis<\/strong>, who spoke to the group about developing club management models.
